how do envelope for cutoff work in lmms?
they seem to be different from a typical filter env for an osc.
im doing stuff in my tutorial book to make a wah bass that opens the filter with an attack but its not working

It goes up or down 6000Hz * AMT from the cutoff value set by the FREQ knob.

The only thing really odd about it is the way release works, ie. release seems to always start from sustain value rather than whatever value the envelope is at at the time. Otherwise it's pretty normal. The problem is that this is hard to fix without breaking backwards compatibility for old songs...
