Hiya! Me again.
Now that automation recording has been implemented, I'm hoping it will be possible to add the ability to record pitch/mod wheel movement WHILE recording keyboard playing in the piano roll.
The pitch and mod wheels are a pretty intimate and directly-related part of the live-playing part of recording.
Adding these in post-facto just never seems to really feel like it's directly part of what was played live. .. The rest of the knobs don't quite have as intimate a connection with the live playing. .. However, it would also be nice to capture those as well if possible.
The more knobs/sliders (general automations) that can be captured during the recording of the keyboard itself the better. It would reduce the amount of going over-and-over-and-over the track to record/create more changes in the knobs/sliders/general automations.

That's all for now. 8-)
I also added this to the Github site

It's already possible.

Is there a tutorial somewhere? particularly the mod wheel part for VSTis,

Thanks!
Dave
no dont think so, but you just have to find the dial that represent the pitch wheel in our
Image
dial-array
Then :
*drag that dial into an automation-track
*right-click the track
*chose the record-option
Now as you re-play your project any manual movement of the LMMS-dial -NOT the vst-pitch-wheel!! will be recorded as IF you had moved the pitch-wheel

Understand?
If you are unfamiar with vst in lmms , you need to read
