No sound for imported samples

Hello Everyone,

I am using lmms v 1.0, Ubuntu 12.04 amd 64.

Everything seems to be working fine with the exception of any imported samples. I have tried both methods listed at:

But I get the same results - no sound - I have tried both wav and flac file formats.

The files are 1 hour long, and I have stretched the note to the appropriate length, but still no sound.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Too long probably. LMMS will not even load any file that is larger than 100 MB. Try chopping them up to smaller pieces.

Also LMMS doesn't really handle long sampletracks well in any case, at this point. You'll probably want something like Ardour for that.
