problem with piano roll

i just installed the newest version of lmms, and something's very wrong with the piano roll.

i have windows 7.
on installation, i set the folder path so that it would be the folder of my older lmms.
(default path was LMMS 4.0.1.5 and i changed that to LMMS)
i didn't explicitly uninstall my older version.

what shouldi do?

the problem is the theme. i think you use a theme for 0.15, but those uses css in a different way. -so afaik, You cant use 'old' themes on 1.0.
Try without the theme

What Musikbear said. You need to use the default theme - at the moment, there isn't yet any other themes that work for 1.0.0 (Sti2nd has one but it's basically just the default theme + some changes).

I'll be releasing a 1.0 compatible version of the Entropy theme at some point, but at the moment I just don't have time to work on it...

I don't know if it'll be useful, but I had the same trouble with precompiled binary LMMS 1.0.2

It was built for Fedora (I don't remember exactly) as RPM but I installed it into OpenSUSE 11.4, x64.

The only way to decide this problem was building LMMS from sources on my machine. No such abstract painting appears any more
