Imported files now have no sound; only lmms presets work

I'm not sure if this has happened to other users. I have imported several sound files from different places on the internet and used them as tracks. Everything is fine and I have the songs exported as WAV files, but now when I went back into lmms, the sound files are not playing. The wavelength on the track is flatlined. When I click on the file in question to play it on its own, again, there is no sound at all.

Right now, the only tracks which play sound are the original lmms presets

Any ideas why this has happened?

Hi Niall.
If your sound files were in a folder:
Did you move that particular folder, to another part of your computer?

Also, if you're using the Audio file processor, check and see if it leads to the folder, that your downloaded sound files are stored in.
It's possible that a glitch happened and re-routed your Audio File Processor folder paths.

Also, check the Lmms Settings Menu, and make sure your audio device is still set to SDL.
Sometimes, when Lmms unknowning glitches, folder paths are partially re-routed and options are unknowingly changed.

Also, if you're using the Audio file processor, check and see if it leads to the folder, that your downloaded sound files are stored in.

This is where you should look:

Look where it says 'eather.wav'
There should be a filename here in your AFP too

Look where it shows the spectrum
You should also have a visible spectrum in your AFP

If you have that, you could have a mute, or disabled the playback for the track
