RemoteVstPlugin.exe not functioning anymore

I download a VST called "You Wa Shock !" (Simular to soundgoodizer)
It is an .exe file.
1) I just opened it via 7-zip and placed the .dll file in the vst folder
all was functioning perfect

2) then, as I have sen it on youtube, stupid me executed the .exe file to install the vst plugin
After that I get this failure "RemoteVstPlugin.exe not functioning anymore" with detailed information as you can see below in the quote 1st window while opening the project
Another window displays this error, too "Runtime error 217 at 01FCC0DA"
Then lmms displays "The VST plugin YOU WA SHOCK !.dll could not be loaded for any reason"

After clicking through these information, project starts loading again, but next failure window opens "RemoteVstPlugin.exe not functioning anymore" with detailed information as you can see below in the quote 2nd window while opening the project

Then loading the project is stuck, and I can not cancel the loading.
So I have to close the software and getting the windows information as in the quote below lmms hangs while closing

Implementing this vst as an effect to another procect is also not possible anymore.

Is there any chance of deinstalling to undo all the changes done by the .exe?
Is there any other solution?

I did google a lot without any positive result

First, does this also make NEW project fail? Or can you create a brand new project and get for instance synt1 to work?

I suspect that the dll, in the failing file, is corrupted by the 7zip unpack, and that it meight be blocking that project, so this is what you should try:
save open files in all proggies
close all proggies
shut down th pc
cold start pc
open lmms
drag a new vst container in from side-bar
open any (but IF you have synth1, choose that) old reliable vst
Play
What happens?

Windows olny:
Windows can 'redo' the install actions, but it will destroy everything that has been installed on your pc, since you or the OS made a 'recovery-point' -When was that?

I did what you recommended, and I opened synth1 and it easily makes the sound as it should.

But to make it clear, it is not about an instrument, it is about an effect, which I add under FX -> insert effect
Now I added some effects to synth1, all work as they should
Then I try to add "you wa shock !" as an effect. This again brings up a window "RemoteVstPlugin.exe not functioning anymore" (Eventhough the gui of the effect is dispayed this time before bringing up the window, See information in the quote below)

What I did already:

• setting back the system to date 30th October = didn't fix the problem (so I undo the setting back)
• searching for registry entrees and deleted it = didn't fix it
• tried in the shel the command to unregister the .dll, but somehow the path and/or file was not correct, so maybe my fault = didn' fix it

As I unpacked it with 7-zip and just copied the file to the folder, all was ok.
The problem occored as I executed the .exe file, so something must have been messed up while installing it, but I can not figure out, what the installer did exactly. (Placing the file to the destinated folder, 2 registry entries, .... but what else I don't know)

Your english is perfect, my danish is even not available

yes, i think we talked passt eachother, i had the impression that anything vst simply diddent work anymore, but thats not the case -right?
In an other project (new or old) you can load both vst-instruments, and vst-effects, but the one you want this "you wa shock" (YWS), that one does not work!
Using that crashes lmms, and the remotevst.exe error message pop up
Is that correct?
You also say that you had this YWS working for a test, but when you then choose to install it, all the mishap started?
Can you confirm or reject all this?

Yes musikbear, exactly that what you described.
So it should be possible to use lmms as before, but without that YWS effect. (Which is a bit sad, but hey, then I have to find another solution)

Additionally I finally managed to open that project by renaming the EasyQ.dll, so it could not be found and not loaded (a plugin also used and also made trouble while loading AFTER installing that YWS.dll - see post 1)
So at least I could save some presets and so on.

Now I have to test, if this EasyQ.dll will make trouble in new projects.

yes shame about YWS, but vst-effects are a somewhat troublesome chapter in lmms, its being looked at..
If you have a project-loading problem again, there is a simple way to fix it:
Just move the vst-dll away from the path-folder. lmms will then cast a warning, but open the project with no hickups. easy-peasy

yeah, shame and blame on the YWS VST!
So after finalizing a new project, no trouble came until now. Cross fingers it stays like this.

I did the trick you mentionened, but I am more the guy how renames it (e.g. from .dll to .dll.bkp). It is an old habit of mine. Later on I rename it back to the old name
