Runtime Error

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello, folks!
I am sorry to bother you all with a question that has already been asked on the forum, but the answer given in the other post does not help me and since it's a very old post it may be already considered a different issue.
You see, I installed lmms 1.0.3 and the following message is shown when i try to run the program
Image
I've followed some tutorials online to get rid of it, but none of them were effective, and neither downgrading to lmms 1.0.2.
My computer is a Windows 7 64bits with service pack 1, any tips? :)
Thank you in advance
.. *sigh* nasty -and not sure at all that i know what to do..
Firstly
You should run newest release! 1.0.3 is stable, and is the best current release
I have a few questions:
Have you had previous versions of lmms installed?
Have you upgraded your visualC-runtimeLib recently? (like allowed a game to auto-do something at download )
Do you have other issues with your pc? (eg can you run games a.o multimedia with NO issues?)
Let me know, and then we continue from there. :) no guantees, though.. :/
As he said he already has 1.0.3 installed, that shouldn't be the issue.

Try installing this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... px?id=5555
And if that doesn't work, maybe this https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/issues/512 ... t-48825153

i believe he reverted to 1.0.2. Thats why i said 1.0.3
Hey, guys, thank you all very much for the tips.
Musikbear, I am sorry to mislead you haha, I had problems with 1.0.3 and tried the 1.0.2 just to check if it was a release related problem, but the issue was still here so i returned to 1.0.3. I can play music and games very well, even watch videos on the Media Player Classic
Stakeout Punch, i indeed hadn't the most recent version of this software, but upgrading didn't solve the problem. Thank you though
Sti-Jay, your advice did change the error message, but now it says that the application couldn't be properly initialized (0xc000007b). I believe now i had some sort of problem during the instalation because my LMMS folder ain't in the Programs (x86), it's the 'regular' one.
This pc I have was recently formated, maybe i'm lacking some drivers or anything.
Should I go after a technician?
IT HAS WORKED!! :)
I don't know why, but i just followed the very end of Sti-Jay's tutorial. Uninstalling the soundcard driver and reinstalling it has worked!!
Many thanks to you all, sorry for the trouble. Have a nice weekend and happy holidays :D

Yeah, there can be multiple faults causing this, none of them is completely on LMMS, but the portaudio thing was too technical for me to understand why it wasn't LMMS' fault.

Just to put a lil more info out there, if you are on a 64-bit operating system and have 64-bit LMMS installed, it should be in the "Program Files" folder. But if you installed the 32-bit LMMS, it should be in the (x86) folder.
