Midi Controller Compatibility

So, I'm buying a few midi controllers. Specifically, the korg nano2 series of midi controllers.(Nano Pad2, Nano key2, and the Nano Kontrol2)

Anybody know if they have any compatibility, just want to know before I purchase so that I don't blow my money,
and if they don't have compatibility could anyone recommend me a midi controller/set around the same price.

Unfortunately korg nano is not mentioned, but several others are. I dont know the price..
-But perhaps you could explain the need in the store, and they could lend you one for a try-out ?
-And btw , lots are sold as used, because kiddies get one, and then loose interest, as they discover that the millions dont roll in by them selfs :p

The price of the set is around 150$, and don't really have a local music store so can't really go and try one out.
I tried looking around amazon for used, and they are just broken and/or more expensive than new. So I guess I'm just going to have to pick one up and try it out.
