Hi Guys, I would like to get some feedback, on how to improve, and I am not sure I am in tune.
I think I am, but that piano hmmm, I don't know. It does not sound nice to me.

I also uploaded the file to lmms share, which might make it easier to discus the issues if any.

i think you are in key. The piano is a little 'weak' -what vst did you use

You could try to double the notes, but set volume on either the high or the low octaves to half the value of the other. That can sometimes give a piano more 'weight' in the mix

The piano fits in nicely, I would not change anything. You have accomplished in a few months, what I have seen others take years to do. Keep up the good work.

Thank you. I stepped out of my comfort zone, on the melody, and learned something from it.
And I always thought I had some talent for making music, with the emphasis on some.

Very happy about my music getting more complicated. ( as in less copy paste )

Maybe I try some piano sound fonts, instead of this vst. I like how it fits in, but on the other hand,I think it can be improved.
Got very annoyed at one point, tried so many sounds for that melody, but this was the first sound I could find, that at least fitted in.

I love how some of synth1 arpeggios and ZynaddsubFX choir like sounds, seem to fit nice together.
When I try zynaddsubFX for a main melody though, it never makes me happy.

@Gps That high end synth that comes right in and plays constantly throughout the song is pretty much out of tune. The other stuff sounds pretty solid, great job on that. The piano sound good to me.

I think what this piece is missing is a nice bassline, but that's personal preference.

Hmm a bassline, will give it a try, nice idea.

About the arpeggio, its synth1, can that be fixed ? I doubt I can fix it, because I do not think I can hear its out of tune.
But besides me hearing it or not, how can you tune synth1 ?

This is an interesting music track.
The piano sounds from 1:08 to 1:22 and from 2:01 to 2:15 secs onward is nice, but a little weak sounding.
It needs just a little bit of "fatness" to it.
Not a super alot of fatness, just a bit of it.
To make it sound a little bit wholesome.

But the piano sounds nice though.

Question: Did you put any type of reverb on the Piano? I'm just curious.

That cool razor dipping synthesizer sound, from 19 secs, at first I thought it was out of tune, with the rest of the music.
But do my ears deceive me,.........Then it started to sound okay in it, and started to mesh in, with the rest of the tune as time progressed.

But,...........I've heard some Trance music, years back, that use a similar, out of tune type electronic synth sound style, in their soundtracks. Similar to how you used it here, in this music track.
Unfortunately, I can't remember the names of those Trance tracks. Lol!

All in all, this is a very cool sounding music track.
It could be a bit better, but still,........ Awesome enough, to listen too!

thank you too, and about it could be better that's why I ask for feedback.

I usual get good ideas from it.Reverb is something I am gonna try. And maybe give that dynamics booster another try.

I had some issues to get that arpeggio in line with the rest, the fade in was the only solution.
I suspect synth 1 not having any attack or delay on this sound, but zynsubfx does.
This makes it almost sound of beat, when they play together.
