New 1.1.2 version broken - VeSTige problems

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hey, new user and first post. Unfortunately in the 'trouble' forum.

Before reporting I just want to say ; great work on LMMS, seriously good effort for a free project done by peoples on their spare time!!! :!:
It's fun just messing around with sounds and LMMS has worked fine for just that (1.0.0 to now). VeSTige has worked fine both on 32 & 64 bit versions for Windows (Win7 64 bit here) and every free VST synth plugin with only 2-3 exceptions have worked just fine. :D

However, version 1.1.2 is broken in a bad way. Posed this on the FB page but thought it was time to get it on here.
Here is the basic error report (copied from FB post):

For 64-bit version the error says 'RemoteVSTPlugin.exe' stopped working (it could be '32' added to the file name, don't remember since I uninstalled it already).
For 32 bit version the OS reports 'QtCore4.dll' missing and 'RemoteVSTPlugin.exe' stopped working.
The VST synths tried were Synth1 (1.12), Arppe2600VA, ElectroStudio Or2v (Oberheim 2 Voice).
All these worked fine in 1.1.0 32 and 64 bit.

From TaskManager.

More info :

Uninstall doesn't work for LMMS 1.1.2 32-bit.
Also, the 'lmms.exe *32' keeps running and can't be shut down from Task Manager.

Reinstalled 1.1.0 32-bit and everything works fine again.
The instruments are all 32-bit VST Instruments.
I experience the same problems, I reported a bug https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/issues/1757
Is it OK to report bugs here or should they go directly to GitHub?
Posting them here will let anyone learning about LMMS to see it. Just say the word.

Thx

BIg bugs like this should go straight to the tracker on GitHub, but we don't expect everyone to know that, so continue doing as you are and thanks for the notification.

For now, please revert to 1.1.0. We're investigating and we should have a 1.1.3 patch out shortly.

Ok will do that if there are any other major issues.
1.1.0 works just fine.
Thank you.
Happened to stumble upon an unofficial build 1.1.2-1 (Win 64-bit) on Github which works great. No clicks and pops either.
Very nice.

I wish I knew C/C++ to be able to contribute to the project.
Took a while, but we finally fixed this per #1757

Our download page will be updated once we get some solid test results in, but I'm running it now and it is just fine.

If you've already taken it upon yourself to run the unofficial 1.1.2-1 version, there's no reason to upgrade, the builds are practically identical. We had to turn off an optimization feature in the RemoteVSTPlugin to get this working, so please report any regressions on our tracker.

Windows 1.1.3 32-bit:
https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/releases/d ... -win32.exe

Windows 1.1.3 64-bit:
https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/releases/d ... -win64.exe
I makes me a bit nervous, reading you guys had to turn of some optimization feature, but since I am on Linux, I can't not yet test it there ?
1.1.2 is working fine here as far as I can tell, but I will try out 1.1.2-1 when it comes available.
It should be easy to upgrade and recompile it.

It was quite a fight to compile it the first time, but now its working, it should be easy to update.
Will 1.1.2-1 also have the newer ZynAddsubFX ?
Great work!

Will try it out very soon.
