It would be nice to be able to have multiple automation querries within a single automation editior, similar to the beatline editor. I find that having multiple automations for multiple instruments really takes up alot of space within the song editor.

No actually, this is going to be handled completely different, both the automation, and the space-usage in song-editor.
So there are focus on both automation, and on aiming for clean and functional Song-editor look&feel
