maybe it would be an idea, to have different genres? Either like
This week: 6 trance-pieces /house / emotional ....
or
one piece of 6 popular genres every week
can you follow my thoughts? -And what does peeps say?
A kind of 'nominating' / 'voting' (could be based on 'likes') -could perhaps also be an idea?

I have thought about doing that, adding a theme or genre to each episode, but I want to avoid picking only popular themes or genres. For less popular ones I may have to dig deep into all the sources (LMMS users, LMMS groups, "LMMS"-tagged songs, etc.). I prefer songs that have been posted recently, but there may not be any unblack metal or speedcore songs coming out each week, just to name two examples.
I did not intend this to be a contest like The Best of LMMS, so I don't know how nominating/voting would work here. It's more of a list of songs that I find interesting and want others to have a listen.

Excellent variety this week, thanks. Personally I like having a mix of genres. Even the tracks that aren't "my sort of music" generally have something interesting about them. If you had only one genre per week there's too much risk that I'd just think "Oh not my type of music" and end up missing something good
