Novation 49SL MKII Keyboard CC Mapping

I am having troubles connect control knobs in LMMS to my Novation keyboard. Keyboard connects, plays fine, records in piano roll fine.
If I connect a knob to CC # 2, then I can control that knob with the MOD wheel.

HOWEVER, when i connect control knobs to my higher CC's, it doesn't work... Any ideas?

In case anyone is interested, I worked it out... Every Control Channel is simply +1 from what the the Novation says it is ... so 31 on keyboard is 32 on LMMS Midi controller connection TAB.

Also if you touch a controller when LMMS Midi controller connection is open, it automatically sets to the right channel.

I realise this is prolly total Noob stuff, but hey, that's me
