crackles on volume automation

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello,
I get crackles and noises on all volume sliders and knobs when trying automate them with peak controller (fake sidechaining), or fast envelopes in automation tracks. I was reading is old problem, but volume control is basic and one of most important thing in music production (maybe except for chiptunes).So LMMS are useless at the moment, but I like the sounding and workflow. Please fix it in the near future. Thanks.

Using LMMS 1.1.3 x86 on windows 7 x64.
may i ask what sound-device you have set? Best for windows is SDL

please also post your:

* hardware specification (ram & soundcard is the most imortant)
* lmms sound device chosen
* perhaps a sound-file
Thanks for quick response. I use PC with 12 GB RAM and Tascam US -122mk II external souncard. I use SDL settings now and try Windows wasapi others settings not work properly at all. Sorry cant send soundfile because using external samples and VST synth, but can do some basic with LMMS plugins.

LMMS project link, sorry forum attachments not work for me :?

Doest it still crackle with SDL? If so i would like to hear it -Cant you record output with something else, like audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ (free & recommended!)

No, the forum has had a bad spam attack, and i believe 'attach' not re-established.
Please .wav of same LMMS project http://www.filedropper.com/problem_2.
If I dont touch volume sliders or knobs I dont get any crackles so I dont think that this is a soundcard problem.
I found on GitHub, same are reported by Unfa about half year ago. So this is are bug. How chances we have for nearest fix?
hmmm .. my output is significant different:

This would indicate a HW issue, but i do not have hi-end hw at all, but as you can hear, your file does ok for me
on SDL with default buffer
My Tascam far from being the hi-end ;) Anyway testing the same on other software (have renoise and ableton lite) and no problem appear, so not sure that it only HW problem. I'll try launch ASIO driver in LMMS and we will see.
With ASIO the same results :(
But found working sidechaining method in tutorials subforum.
Hi. I had very similar problems (perhaps my ears are too 'sensitive' for LMMS... :-D ). See http://lmms.io/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7& ... ling#p6157 and especially the following reply: http://lmms.io/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7& ... ling#p6157.

I'm very astonished to see musicbear's replies here... musicbear, you should remember my postings and your replies too - I do at least. I told I'll wait for LMMS 1.2 (as this was told to be the first working version which solve the posted crackles). My latest test of 1.1.3 shown me, that diiz was right (what I expected) and ... the crackle still exists.
