Quick Question about Plugins

I feel like this should be an easy one...I'm currently shifting back and forth between 1.0.2 on Windows, and 1.1.3 on Mac.

I just started a song in 1.1.3 which uses the Watsyn plugin.

I moved this song (via a flash drive) to Windows, but 1.0.2 lacks the Watsyn plugin. Is it possible to copy from the 1.1.3 program files and paste into the 1.0.2 program files so I can get Watsyn? If so, which ones to copy? If not, is there another solution?

I guess the bigger question is: are newer instruments supported in older versions, and if so, how to do so?

Why not just upgrade your Windows version of LMMS to 1.1.3 ? That seems like the easiest solution.

But to answer the general question. No, you cannot generally retrofit newer instruments into old versions of LMMS.
