Can't load VST's

I have not been able to successfully load any VST's in LMMS on either my laptop or my desktop systems. I've tried loading several on the list of ones that are reported to work. I "think" I'm doing it right, but is there a walk through anywhere that I can check? Or any other thoughts on how to make it work? Both my comps are running Windows 7-64 and LMMS otherwise works great. Thanks in advance for any help.

Figured it out. I didn't know there were two Windows versions. The 64 version won't load VST's on either of my comps, but the 32 bit version works fine. By the way, great job with this app, devs. Nice and basic and not complete spaghetti soup to learn.
