I am using Debian, but this bug may occur with other OSs as well. I am using LMMS 1.1.3.
You know that pitch knob next to the panning knob that appears to the right with many plugins? Well, if you increase the "Range" number, it increases the range of the pitch knob, which allows you to automate the pitch even further.
However, I discovered a bug.
I made a song that had many instruments with pitch automation, and when I exported it, it acted as if "Range" was at its minimum, only allowing a semitone up or down of pitch shifting, but for some reason it only did it with one instrument, the first instrument that played. With a bit of experimentation, I discovered that if I automate the "Range" number to start from zero, then move up to the number it was supposed to be, it fixes the glitch. Note that the bug only occurs when exporting the project, not when playing it within LMMS.
Is there anywhere else I should report this bug? I'll see if I can recreate the bug in a new project.
