Hi there!

Just wondering how I'd make sounds like this?

With the game I'm making, I've decided to remake the soundtrack in that sort of genre of music, but I'm not sure what synthesizers I should use or HOW to use them. Can anyone tell me what ones to use, and, since I'm not that used to working with some synths BEYOND the built in LMMS ones (Not including Zyn), how I'd make them?

This is of course doable in LMMS, but I would be unable to give advice to realize the design of an entire track. Moreover, it would take a long time to try to say something for each instrument.

Can you possibly make us listen to a sample of your tracks? This would give us an idea of ​​your current level of advancement, and perhaps give you more specific advice.

Otherwise, there is a lot of good material in the Tutorials section of the forum.
For example, brandystarbrite has made many tutorial for the design of intruments.

There is also the LSP in which you will find a lot of material to study (https://lmms.io/lsp).

Finally (I doubt the need to write this, but here is), in my opinion, the only one way is : do it, do it again, again, and again. By following any road, you will end up drawing your own road, designing your own style (just because music is in you). Do it, and share it, there will always be someone who can say something that will help (just because we are billions).

Well its Bach + metal
Bach needs a church-organ Look in zasfx folder organ
Metal needs GOOD percussion and a lot of work, there is really not any 'special' sounds, but the most important is to temper the instruments with EQ

Hmmm, perhaps I misworded what I said.
I didn't mean on an entire song, just a select few instruments. I have another song from the same game soundtrack which may make it easier to identify the sounds I'm looking for!

Even if I was to just know the genre! To me, they sound sort of 8-16 bit ish, which would definitely help me with finding some synths to use.

I don't necessarily need info on the entire process of making the instrument, just what synths to use.

Now with regards to my skill level:
Right now, I'm not home, so I can't get samples of my songs, but I can say:
I do know the basics, how to use effects, LFOs, ENVs, stuff with the FX channel, all that. I know this is a bad example, but right now it's all I can offer, sorry!
(I know more than this of course, but it's just off the top of my head.)

Ah, thank you! So I'm guessing I should just look up examples of how to make these sorts of sounds? I have more examples of sounds in the links I sent in my previous reply, if it helps get a general idea of what synths I should use, ect, since I'm not that experienced in Zyn!

I THINK I understand what you mean. Anyway, here goes:
(Although, before I start:
They're all very similar sounds, I think they're just variants or whatever that can probably be made with a specific synthesizer, although I'm yet to find one which might be able to give me the results I want.)
In the first song:

First: The main sound that plays from 0:10 to 0:30
Second: Dunno how to describe it, it sounds sort of like two pieces of metal crashing against each other and plays from 0:35.

In the second song:

First: Maybe the solo sound at 1:05 till 1:15
Second: Another one that sounds similar to the metal crashing sound, although this can likely be made by editing the other one.

In the third song:

First: The Choir kind of song that plays at the beginning till 0:20 (Also the sound that plays after this)
Second: The other Choir sound at 1:01, plus the guitar sound which plays in the background.

These are a lot of sounds, and honestly I won't really need help with all of them, just as long as I can find an organ synth which can create these types of results.

Those are called Crash and there are several in the default samples

almost sure it is Ian Anderson on steel-flute. He was one of the best ever! on that instrument (Jetrow Tull)

That is a choir :)

'Recreating' sounds is never an exact thing. You will never get a copy of the sound, simply because there is to many variables. But you need a nice church-organ, a bright crash, a good steel-flute (here i would look for a VST) and 40 good friends that sings amazingly :D
