Hello, I am a ZynAddSubFX user looking for a way to save a preset in a format other than .xpf. Zyn's native way of saving/opening presets is .xiv. Zyn as a standalone/VST plugin only recognizes presets in this form. This is my problem, I am trying to open a preset I made for ZynAddSubFX using a VST version. I made this preset in lmms so it saved it as a .xpf. How do I either save or convert this file type into a .xiv?

It is easy to save in zasfx' own format.
( i believe its also one of the things i do in this tutorial,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrrl3OiiJvM
but lets just run through it here:
* Open one of the lmms instruments
* Press Show-GUI button
* Advanced Meny Click: Instrument
* In dropdown Choose Save Instrument
You get a normal save-dialog, where you can choose a folder and disk
The save format is zasfx' .xiZ
Now you write xiV -that could be a different zasfx release formate, but i am rather sure that xiz is importable in vst-zasfx
If not i would like to hear about it :p
