Among the birdies

Howdy again!
I just posted a new track on soundcloud.
https://soundcloud.com/nihil-machinatio ... he-birdies

I don't know how I feel about it yet... I was taking a break from other stuff and decided to play around with LMMS.
I guess I was kinda going for something a little dirty sounding but up-beat.

It also has birdy sounds and a simple binaural beat under it (so I guess it's intended for headphones :/ ).

Well, I hope someone finds it enjoyable.

Yes, it's lighter than your other tracks.

I like the last part. Besides, this part with the bird could extend a little more.

This one sounds, really nice and cheeryish, in comparison to your other tracks. :)
Nice work. :)

Thanks for the feedback :)
Ha.. I was a little taken back by the suggestion my other tracks are less cheery or more dark, but I guess it's true...

I've actually thought about doing more soundscaping in my work, but since my notebook died, it's a bit hard to record things too far away from where my desktop is located, so my misc. collection of sounds is a bit low.

Do you record your own samples?

I mainly just do samples and such for foley to be used in my games and animations these days... When it comes to music, I've mainly been using default sample for percussion. I'd love to incorporate more personalized samples and layer things to create ambiance... but I'm sort of lacking the hardware since I finished Uni... Maybe I can try some field recording with my phone (I've worked with worse microphones), but I'm really limited with what I can record right now due to the range my cheap microphones can pick up. :/
