vst-instruments Not Working (Windows)

I'v had LMMS for a awhile, but have not used it much. I finally wanted to use vst instruments because it would take out the normal limitations of LMMS. But each time I try and get my instrument from VeSTige, I get the error that says cannot load this for some reason, and something about Linux and LMMS developers. I'v tried to look for this problem, but I only find Linux users have this problem. Another issue that is probably not related to this is that when I try and start playing the song editor, starting in the middle will give me no sound, which means I always have to start at the beginning. I'v tried to use vsts that have been known to work such as Synth1. I'm a noob so, if you need more information and are willing to help, I'll need directions to get the information.

I run LMMS 1.1.3 on Windows 8

What limitations do you feel lmms has? Its always good to know :)
from VeSTige, get error
cannot load this
Does this happen when you try to load the DLL into the VST-instrument
OR
does it happen when you try to load a saved VST-preset?

Good! except Synth1 must be installed, in order to work correctly, so that means that there is some unknowns
You should try MDA-Piano (its in the list of Testet-VSTs)
It is very small in size, and it is only one DLL that you can copy to you folder. -Eg NO installation! Further its a quite good piano-instrument, so it is a win win

Also
please post your:
* OS (+service-pack-version)
* hardware specification (ram & soundcard is the most important)
* lmms sound device chosen
* a screenshots of error-state

Another issue that is probably not related to this
No i dont think it, for that reason, i would like you to open a new support ticket here for that issue. We try to have single issue-tickets, because that results in a stronger knowledge DB :)

We will address this there.
