Samples are Cutting Short

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello, I'm having a bit of trouble with samples in LMMS. I'm working on an ambiance track for a game, and it starts off with a finger cymbal. the ring cuts off before the next cymbal sound. I'm using the Beat/Bassline Editor to do this.

ok
I'm using the Beat/Bassline Editor to do this
.
That is the reason. Beat/Bassline notes are in lmms so called 'No-Length_notes' NLNs But im afraid thats a lie..
The NLNs has a limit, and we know thats a bug.
NLNs works great as percussion, but when it comes effects, they have shortcummings.
What you can do is either:
Keep the APF in Beat/Bassline-editor, but open the Beat&Bassline in piano-roll, and exchange the current NLN with a new normal note, selected from the note-dropdown
OR
Move the AFP into song-editor, and make a normal note in a block there
Both will work :)
In this case, it is ok if notes has to overlap each other!

(another explanation is a wrong setting i ENV, but try this first
Even though the envelope is amount is off the sample play time with Beat/Bassline notes is ruled by it. If you turn up the envelopes DEL + ATT + HOLD + DEC all the way up and SUST down you get about 40 seconds of playing, and that's maximum time for a sample played via the AFP.
