YES, I KNOW IT'S DnB, NOT DUBSTEP!!! I call it really fast dubstep with a different beat.

Anyway, I was experimenting around, seeing if I could get a decent dubstep sound in LMMS. ZynAddSubFX is the way to go! :D

That song was mostly experimental (otherwise it would have sounded a bit better), but it sounded awesome enough that posted it anyway.

Tell me what you think! :D

Ooooo!! Cool beaty tune dude. :D
And good work, blending in the synth instruments and sound effects, to make this.
You put this together nicely. :)

PS: Is it my imagination, or are some of the instruments, panned to the left speaker.

1. I'm working with partially broken headphones, where the left ear is quieter than the right one. I don't have money and can't get new ones, so I'm kind of stuck with them...

2. According to SPAN (I'm assuming you know what it is, the free spectrum analyzer VST?), the same volume was coming out of both speakers, BUT at different frequencies. Both sides were the same overall volume, but its possible that the frequency difference was making it sound like it was panned to the left, though it was not. The stereoenhancer effect sometimes does that, it's obnoxious.

So... it's not quite your imagination, but it is an illusion.
