Hey guys, I'm totally new here so I apologise for my small knowledge of LMMS in advance.
I wanted to try the LMMS aplication in general, and everythig works fine except one big problem:

When i start VeSTige and try to run ANY .dll of a plugin, it NEVER works. Not with Synth1, nor any other default plugin already installed. I get the "the vst-plugin could not be loaded for some reason..." etc. - Message.

My Info:
- Windows 10, 64 bit
- 8 Gb Ram
- LMMS 1.1.3
- ask me if you need something

What I already did:
- Reinstalling
- Installing 64 bit/ 32 bit
- Installing 1.1.2
- Change to run in compatibility mode Win XP SP 3

I was looking around in the web/this forum and I couldn't find anything what was exactly matched for my problem (most ones were in Lunix), and if I did find i tried to solve it with the things I wrote down. Pleas apologise if I overlooked something.

On the contrary, it looks like you already have done all i would have advised you ..
Except, what have you in your path in settings
LMMS has a limitation, folders or filenames in path in the LMMS instalation, must be in UNI-code!
Chars from the ASCII-page cant be used!
It is kind of my only shot.. I sure hope thats the issue here...
-Ofcause the dll-files also have to be located in the folder denoted by the path, but i think you have that covered already.
For function-test i recommend MDA-Piano (its in the list of Testet-VSTs)
It is very small in size, and it is only one DLL that you can copy to your folder. -Eg NO installation! Further its a quite good piano-instrument, so it is a win win
