Having trouble getting LMMS to recognize my Akai MPK mini 2

I've been having so much trouble trying to get Lmms to recognize my MPK mini, i've tried so many youtube tutorials, but to no avail. Am i missing something? I know i'm not the only one having troubles either, so if anyone has any solutions, i'm all ears!
