Hello, I was interested in finding a compatible saxophone VST for a jazz house track that I want to make. I have tried 2 Sax VSTs so far and both of them do not work:

DVS_Saxophone
DSK_Saxophone

Computer Specs (Nothing special, just your typical computer):

Windows 8.1 with Bing
Intel J1900 Processor
Intel HD Graphics
500GB Hardrive
4GBDDR3 Memory

If you could possibly suggest a good compatible sax VST, that would be great! Have a nice day!

Hi there i was able to load both of them in no problem am using the latest beta version windows 10 x64

I have the portable version of LMMS, I don't know why it's faling to load these VSTs. I just tried a Harmonica VST and that works just fine.

EDIT: DSK_Saxophones works the first time that I add it in but on further reloads it hangs. This is probably turning into more of a support topic, my bad. So it looks like if I want to make a jazz track, I will have to do it all in one go.

You can see if there are saxophones in the .sf2 format.

That wont work either, you wont be able to open the project an other day, no dont do that.

There are a multitude of presets for Synth1 also

Thanks for your help man! I managed to find a sax sf2 file that works great! I think I'm just about ready to make my jazz track

Tested all of them and they don't crash LMMS!

Should I add a piano or not? I'm going to make this into a swing track and there are plenty of tutorials on here for that. Tell me what you think!
