I tryied to search this topic, but failed. So please let me know if this suggestion is duplicate and delete deliberatly.

It is somehow strange, that the beat/bass line editor allows you to add another pattern by adding another channel/strip. So when i have ten different beats in one song, then i have ten additional strips. I understand that might bring load of issues to solve, but would not make LMMS more intuitive to implement patterns to beat/bass. So to have one BEAT BASS line line and change pattern.

You may say that this is a minor issue, but it bugs me so hard, that i rather do beatline in another software.

Do you have any other ideas to add to this topic? Is it possible to create such feature or is it impossible due to project file incompatibilty? Is there any discussion on this topic?

I am not sure this is a 'closed' feature, but i doubt very much that a total rewrite of B&B will be part of the '1' series.
