One particular VST with problem, any loopholes?

You Wa Shock! (YWS) is an absolutely beautiful VST, but I've noticed three problems, the third of which I'm the most worried about:

1. There are no knobs to automate, which is strange

2. It does not save the changes made to the plugin (always resets to default)

3. It will not work if you have more than one YWS plugin open.

Anything I can do? I'm assuming no, which is a shame, because it is an amazing-sounding effect...

Is it at all realistic for me to change the code to make it work? Would that be easily possible?

afaik nothing to do, in fact this vst ought to be on the no-go-list

sure you 'only' need to rewrite the lmms core..

Absolutely no

Well, I was talking about the code of the VST... actually, I have no idea whether it's open source, I should have checked that...
