Altitude influenced me a lot in my early LMMS days, so I decided that I'd remix it. It sounds pretty good!

LoudMax, AFTER, FerricTDS, and A1StereoControl, all free VSTs for mastering

CamelCrusher, a free VST for compression and distortion

Very powerful remix. You have chosen good instruments and effects, and they are nice together. -But have you used our mixer fully?
Are each instrument on its own bus? Also including all effects and percussion-elements?
If so, have you made sure nothing is in the red, eg that nothing clips?

I don't have every instrument on its own bus, but I have put effects on individual instruments, and have done gain staging appropriately. I did use the busses, but not one per instrument, but that doesn't matter since what I did had the same effect.

I am 100% certain that nothing is clipping, you can even download the song and check for yourself. I even used SPAN to make extra, extra sure nothing was clipping. Though I do admit, I may have put a bit too much distortion on those chords.

Great, if you have checked all, then its just fine. Yes i recommend to use one bus / instrument. If you then want same effects over bus on several instrunemts, you can send those to a new channel, and hence have total individual control, even though you have several send to one channel
