Possible bug? "Unable to load this instrument" (LMMS 1.1.3)

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hello,

I oft use LMMS VeSTige to load and use vst instruments without a problem.
However, sometimes when I save the project and exit LMMS as soon as I want to load the project again (after I run LMMS successfully again) the program is not responding (after a few seconds) no matter how long you wait.
When I close LMMS that has stopped responding I get the error message: "Maize sampler player: "Unable to load this instrument"".
I can't understand why LMMS failed to load the vst instrument, because the first time it worked and I could easily use it.
(The plugin I use is called BellsEbuth http://www.alanvista.com/bellsebuth/, but there are other plugins from other websites as well that work for the first time, but the project fails to load when I open LMMS again)
This does not affect all plugins. There are some vsti I can use without any problems even if I run the program again.
But it is strange that the first time no vsti becomes a problem when it comes to loading AND using the instrument.
So it could be a bug of LMMS but I am not sure.

Regards

Oh yes, the second-loading-problem
Unfortunately, there is nothing to do. The technical explanation is ..technical :p, but the short version is that at first load, the vst will only create a reasonably small amount of data, whereas all following attemt to save data, creates a HUMONGOUS amount! Several 100 pages of binary information. That is the 'reason'. So far we have NO idea why this happens, and 'simply' just advise against using these rater few vst's that behave this way.
It is also described somewhat here in this chapter:
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=Wo ... d_problems

the 1..5 i call vst-std testing. If it fails any of these, dont use :)
I do not know if enyone else has this issue.

If you have, i have workaround. Take VSTi plugin folder, rename it, move dlls (at your own responsibility, ALWAYS BACKUP!!!!), run the project, move/rename files back and reload VSTi's one by one.

Hope it helps ;)
I have on Linux 8 gig ram which is normally more then enough.

With some vst though, my pc starts to lag and if I then check my memory use, I know there is a problem.
Linux is starting to swap.

In simple terms the memory is over flowing.

What sometimes helps on Linux, but that wont work on windows, is to kill wine, and then restart wine.

The other option, should work on windows too, Log out en log in again. ( if you have to do that every time though :( )
