VST on 64-bit Linux

Hello all,

I'm running an Ubuntu Mavercik Meerkat 64 bits. VSTs don't work.

The PPA repo doesn't allow to update to the very last version: it contains version 4.4.8, whereas last version is 4.4.10.

Since last Windows version allows now to load VST on 64-bit executable, I think (and I hope ;) ) it will work on 64-bit Linux as well. Is this assumption correct ? What is needed on 64-bit Linux to get 32-bit VST work, except conversion between 32-bits and 64-bits float/double formats ?

When do you think version 4.4.10 will be available for Linux ?

Keep up the excellent work !
As I'm quite fluent in C++, i hope to join the LMMS developper team soon.

Thanks a lot.

Alexis

Replying to myself...

Yes, since last update (4.4.10), 32-bit VSTs work now on my 64-bit Linux. :D

Thank you so much LMMS team!
