Jazz Project (WIP)

Hello everyone! I need help, if you don't mind. I am struggling to come up with things to go with a decent jazz melody that I made. I have listened to it a few times and it sounds a little bit like jazz hip hop. Tell me if you think the melody needs more variation or anything like that. What I think I'm having trouble with is getting the silky smooth jazz flow that a lot of jazz songs have. It could probably use some claps and snaps, maybe some piano and light percussion. Tempo is at 90 since some jazz songs are chill.

The baritone saxophone is under Arachno Soundfont v1.0 btw!

UPDATE: Added beats and a piano, may be slightly off but I'm getting there!
Update: I've looked at Good Vibes (Another jazz track) and it uses 1 section of repeating saxophone with a variaty of instruments that compliment each other so instead of having this huge section of saxophone notes, I will do a catchy 5-10 second melody since that would be easier for me to comprehend and learn from.

Nice vibe!

About variations, I would say at least yes for drums, a few little fills at the end of sentences, a few ghost notes from time to time, and everything you can imagine.

A few ghost notes from time to time.
What's a ghost note, if you don't mind?
Off course. The ghost notes are muffled notes, played less strongly than the others, serving the rhythm. Concretely, these are notes with low velocity, and why not, with the cutoff of a lowpass filter that will be diminished on these notes ..
