Hi. Have added automation to my last ambient track. Hope it sounds better :)

Hi!
I re-listened to the non-automated version to refresh my memory and to have a point of comparison.

The waveform of the track was slightly inflated, especially in the first part, before the kick appeared.

I find it quite difficult to formulate, I prefer some detail of the non-automated version, but overall I prefer the management of the transitions of the latest version. Also, I have a clear preference for the outro of the latest version :)
Thanks for the feedback. :) I think some parts worked better than others. Also is it possible to automate multiple equalisation at the same time. As in 3 or 4 bandwidths at one time :o

As long as you can improve the track, I want to say let's go :D

Indeed, it is possible to automate several EQs at the same time. This can lead to surprising and transcendent things.
However, at the most you multiply this type of automation track, at most it becomes difficult to maintain a good balance of the spectrum (it becomes simply difficult to think in a multi-variable system whose values change continuously).

The main voice of my track Membrane (what you hear from the beginning) is simply composed of four synths that each play the same long note (1/1). These four synths share a single channel in the mixer. What makes this "voice" sound as you hear it is an automation of a TAP Equaizer/BW common to the four synths: automation of the 8 frequency bands + of the 8 associated gains. The values of these 16 parameters vary quickly and continuously from the beginning to the end. The result is interesting, but it is an unthinkable hell when it comes to editing curves ... (at least, it surpasses my own working cognitive abilities ... so I'm not sure I'm able to finish this track).

So yes, it is possible to automate several EQs at the same time. Just make sure to be able to handle the growing complexity resulting from the increase in the number of automation tracks (it's so obvious that I had not anticipated this "small detail" in my own project  ).

May the Force be with you, Dewke.
Thank you for the reply. It's definitely something I will use in the future :)
Reminds me a lot of maybe a SimCity 3000 OST track, maybe Minecraft as well. I like this quite a bit, good work :)
Thanks PeefTube :). Will check those out. :)
