I forgot to sidechain it...

I actually have three different types of sidechain, which is what allows me to have such humongous dubstep sounds. One is for the kick that compresses everything, one is for the snare that lowpasses everything when it hits, and one is for the cowbell so it EQs out its narrow frequency range when it hits.

So... I'm really good at mixing percussion (maybe even pro), but I'm pretty bad at mixing everything else. Well, better than average, but not nearly as good as with percussion. Still working on it!
