My 4th song - 'Flash'! (deadmau5 - Strobe remix)

I remixed deadmau5's track, 'Strobe,' to be much faster and more 'action-packed', as the original was, as is true to Joel's style, rather long and extended (ten minutes long!).

Flash still carries on the melody of Strobe's middle sequence (about 5:50 in), but that's about it! Everything else was made from scratch, from the effects, synth voices, etc, to the structure and setup, using just a plain LMMS without VSTs.

EDIT: Now that I look back at this, the first about 10 seconds really sucks... It needs some work.

Any constructive feedback, both positive and negative, is much obliged.
So I listened to the track that inspired you to have a point of comparison.

Well, you did a good job, you used your inspiration in a very good way, i.e. you managed to get rid of Strobe and to give to your track its own way, its own life. This track illustrates in a good way the idea of "being inspired by", the best option in comparison with the servile copy (which I distinguish from the cover), or even plagiarism!. Of course, the mix is not as optimized, clean and efficient as your source, but it is a good starting point.
Quite some good work you did on this.
And it's enjoyable to listen to.
