LMMS and 32 bit libraries Linux OpenSuse Tumbleweed

Hi. I'm new here.

I've just tried to install LMMS on OpenSuse Tumbleweed and it wants to install a zillion 32-bit libraries (OK, 168). Is this normal and can I avoid it?

Thanks.

I had hoped someone with insight in the distro had chimed in- i dont know linux, but my guess is that you do need all updates, for sound, vst. and midi support. If your distro is limited (?)
You may learn something from reading this:

But most is for Ubuntu ..

Yes that normal.

Because all current Linux distro's are 64bit.

If you're installing 1.1.3, then you probably won't have Vestige working.

The only solution for that ( not just on opensuse) is to compile the latest release candidate.

I am right now using rc3, rc4 is the latest.

I still need to try rc4 myself.
