for a typical D'n'B style, u need a breakbeat, conspicuous short snares and a TB-303-like bassline. the tempo is between 160-190 BPM.
here a fun-project. it's not the best example for modern D'n'B, but it's D'n'B:

Yep. This is not DnB music.
But it's rather melodious and fun to listen too.
Okay. One thing I noticed, is that the last set of notes, of the cool looping
shaker melody
play a bit out of time, with the track. Moreso, the notes located at end.

Interesting, well composed, everything fits but I agree about those shakers - they are too loud.
