Hello beautiful people, I've been hearing about LMMS for a while and I tried it out yesterday.
I must say I was surprised by how great it was! I'll definitely make more music with it,
While I was working I've found some bugs that could be fixed [vers 1.2.0 rc-4]
-Glitch effect doesn't work properly
-Doesn't play in the background when focused on VST Gui
-Can't zoom on focused part in piano roll and Song editor
-No Detach option
-Instruments not Set on C4 by default
-Doesn't continue to play from the focused point
-No Precise snap grid in Song editor
-Can't directly work with Samples in Song editor.
-Sometimes FX chain doesn't save in the right order
I'm excited to hear more from the community. LMMS has a great potential to become a powerful DAW.

Nice video, your track sounds pretty well!

Otherwise, yes, LMMS is under development.

(I like the base note set to A4 by default

).

Awesome video!

Working with samples in LMMS can be made a little easier if instead of using a sample track you drag them in as an instrument. This will open them up in the Audio File Processor, and from there you can edit them further and add effects and even mess with envelopes and lfo and whatever. Naturally the drawback is that you have to play your samples from the piano roll, which can make longer samples difficult to use, not to mention the reverse cymbal hits/chimes you were using.

Maybe that's not the best advice, but it's all I've got. Sorry...

Wow! Your LMMS song editor looks so tidy! Mine is such a mess... I didn't know you can make a song using not so much space! ;D. Very instructive indeed!

Wow! Good track. Very impressive.
All of the sounds used in it, sound very clean and clear too.
