possibility to manipulate with reverb and chorus effects which are down-placed in the SF2 window
Yes, but those are just like LMMS' own ENV/ LFO where AMT controls the AMOUNT of modulation. In SF2 Image it is 'Level' and 'Depth', that will add the effect in question ..afair

To activate the Reverb or the Chorus, you have to clic on the boxes in which it is written "REVERB" and "CHORUS".
The words "REVERB" and "CHORUS" are written in pink when these effects are enabled.

Both working fine here. Not all soundfont files support effects so I guess you're using an odd one that doesn't. Try Arachno from http://www.arachnosoft.com/main/soundfont.php

Of course there's nothing stopping you adding anything you like via the FX tab in the normal way.

Welcome to the forums adambeneter.

Wow! As always, you've gotten alot of good help here.

Slipstick is right.
If the effects are not working, you could try using Lmms' Chorus Flanger and Calf reverb plugins.
Or any of the other chorus and reverb plugins, that comes packaged with lmms. :)
