Some improvements (i hope it can help)

I think having a lateral bar like these
called vst that list all vsts instruments (not eff) and by drag and drop them to song editor you can open them by VeSTige.
Also i think it will be a good idea not to have listed vst instruments in the effects window when you add an effect.
Another good idea would be to have a simple audio editor window for modifying audio track in the sample track as well as piano-roll editor or beat bassline ed. I know that exists Audacity or other program like this (ocenaudio, etc), but i think have it in lmms can be more useful that have to use another program to do some simple thing.
And also (but this have been discussed a lot of other times) we are expecting for lv2 but especially for vst3 support.
