How to clean up my Timpani Sample?

I recently got a very good Timpani Sample from freesound and it sounds great but when it plays really fast notes, it produces this small popping sound as a side effect that's kind of annoying. How do I clean up my sample to make that not happen?

if you are lucky, its either attack or release pops
adjust the envelope, and see if you can improve it

if not so lucky, its 'spill' eg the result of release being inside the next attack. this is being looked at, but at the moment there is no solution other than shorter release, and you would need to edit your sample in f.i. audacity

What musikbear said is correct.
And if all fails, Audacity is your friend here.

Musikbear was right! I fixed it with not much of a problem!
