I'm new to lmms. During my first week, my start menu on Windows 10 stopped working and the only way I could fix it was to refresh. So I had to redownload everything, including lmms. But the thing is, I clicked save all files, but now when I go into lmms they cannot be opened, instead having the error message about not having permissions to read the files. I see them in recently opened projects, but nowhere else. Will I need to just go ahead and remake everything? If so, oh well, but if not, would love some guidance. Thanks in advance

Yes, as such, it is not a lmms problem, it is a windows problem.
When you install new programs in win,10 you must use the administrator account
This is increasingly rigid, as you raise the version of win10 -Enterprise being very strict, and only allowing signed windows programs default.
Your best option is to backup all your own stuf, As ADMIN :
* remove everything connected to lmms (scan regDB) -remember: https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=LM ... h_Settings
* dl a new fresh lmms installer: https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/releases/d ... -win32.exe
* Install again
* insert your own stuf again.
Remember all actions must be as ADMIN of the installation/ pc
