I know this isn't my computer because it has happened on multiple. Commonly when I try to delete either and automation track or a B&B track it disappears but still plays. After I re-open the song it's there again. any help?

Try the latest beta version. I don't think I've seen this reported for 1.2 yet.

* Are you on linux? -what subtype? (or else : what os )?
* what version of lmms do you use?
* What delete actions (DEL or context) results in this fail?
