Hey you boyz and galz,

A dub version of one of my favorite reggae tunes: Satta Massagana, composed in 1969 by the Abyssinians

If you saw the motion picture Rockers, you most likely remember the intro where this tune is performed a cappella (well, with some deep roots percussions and an acoustic guitar...)

Nice track, nice remix. Did you use sf2 for brass?

Yop,

Thanks for your kind comments.

@D: yes, I use some sf2 files for the brass section.

Oooh! Nice remix dude. :)
I noticed that the bass in this one, has a much lower volume, in comparison, to your previous tracks.
Was that intentional? :)

Irie Ites Dreadystarbrite!

I first did not notice, but you are right: when I listen to my previous tunes, the bass is clearly higher.

Then I listened to the original version of the Abyssinians ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UE3qYbB_7-E ) where the bass is rather low.
I suppose that this version was in my mind (could have worse things in mind...) when I mixed Satta In Dub.
