I just installed LMMS, and when I try to generate any sort of sound, whether in the B/B editor or the song editor, a shrill clicking noise plays. I have gone into settings, corrected the output source and lowered the buffer size to the minimum but the problem persists. My computer has a decent processor, so that shouldn't be the issue, but for now, LMMS is unsuable.

If it was not the issue
please post your:
* OS (+service-pack-version)
* lmms version
* hardware specification (ram & soundcard is the most important)
* Latency setting
* lmms sound device chosen
