Hey guys! Here's my March track:

I was working on a different track and getting nowhere. A track that I've been trying to make work for a long time.
I got frustrated and decided to start something else entirely. Something simpler. I'm happy with the result.

On a different note... How do you guys go about mixing? Do you mix along with composing? As soon as you create a new track, do you link it to a mixer channel? I've been trying to get better at mixing to get the final track as loud and balanced as possible, but it often is an excruciating process, so I was wondering how other people did it.

Anyway, hope y'all like the track! ;)
The track sounds good :) I'm having the same problems mixing. I tend to mix as I go along and tweak it in the final mix. I do however do any panning last. I'm also finding it hard to keep the loudness and also compressing the track. :(

The music sounds nice.
And the sounds and instruments, sound clean and clear too. Good work on the mixing.

Thanks! :D
That's interesting. I tend to mess around the volume and panning knobs as I compose. And that makes things harder when I connect the tracks to the mixer, I sorta end having to mix everything again. I want to get into the habit of sending tracks to the mixer and start mixing there already.
I also struggle with loudness. I think pretty much all of my tracks could be louder with more appropriate mixing.
Oh well.

I'm glad it came out all right. :)

A faultless journey so far.
I am a fan, dude.
The recurring use of the same set of synths gives a stamp of homogeneity from one track to another, makes your sound quite characteristic, it works well.

I do not think I can give good advice for the mix. I do not have an effective method yet.

Thanks so much, man! I appreciate that.
It hasn't been intentional, I guess I tend to gravitate towards certain synth sounds...

By the way, I'm fan of yours too. I like that you're also trying to do something different and I admire your effort to stick to LMMS native stuff. I'm sure you put a lot of work into sound design.
And I'm still looking forward to your next release... :D
