LMMS crashes when I try to import smth in the sampler track

Lmms does not have a sampler. do you mean sample-track'the sampler'
How big is import the file?
How much ram do you have?
please post your:
* OS (+service-pack-version)
* lmms version
* hardware specification (ram is the most important)
