I rephrased your need a bit, because i think this describes the issue better.
And .. it is an issue!
It is actually not a simple task, to change installations :|
There are several problems, because afn lmms does not have recursive search of components. Thats is a WIP, as is several ways to export projects.
The problem is enhanced, if you have used VSTs, because their paths are hardcoded in the project-files!
This is also true for SF2!
So VSTs and SF2 are the real problems.
But firstly you need to
* install vanilla LMMS on labtop pc
* create a dummy-project, and save it
* localize that project. Now you know where your lmms-projects are natively stored in the lab-top installations!
* insert the WIP-project(s) in that folder
* Press myProject in the labtop-installation. Your moved project-files should be listed now.
But if you have used VSTs ao SF2, then you properly will get errors like
But try the above, and then we will look at the other stuff if needed..
