Hi LMMS Users,

I'm new to LMMS (like hours new) and I'm wondering how to change a file, for example a m2p file, into a LMMS-compatible file. If anyone has any other tips or advice with the UI, please let me know!!

Thanks!

Okay. This is the first time, I've heard anyone ask about this, for m2p files.
If this concerns audio samples, I know that Lmms, uses ogg. and wav. files for samples.
Maybe, convert the m2p file, into either an ogg. or a wav. file, then import it into Lmms.
I hope I understand your question correctly though.

And also, welcome to the forums Fozzybear. :)

As brandy says, you convert to wave, ogg, flack and that can be done with something like Audacity
https://www.audacityteam.org/download/
But them you need to insert the file in lmms.
That is either in sample-track
or the AFP

It can read and write customized presets and themes. Audio can be exported in the Ogg, FLAC, MP3, and WAV file formats, and the projects can be saved in the compressed MMPZ file like https://mypcfile.com/convert/mp3-to-ogg or the uncompressed MMP file format.
