Hello everyone,

I just made my first beat in LMMS, I just wanted to share it with you and ask for advice, particularly on the clicky bass and the melody(which is a bit monotone).
I would be happy if you guys left some feedback, and maybe gave me a few tips.
I am just starting to get keen on effects and such, most of this was just made with plugin presets and samples

You're right, the melody is a bit monotone, and this makes the structure of the tune too linear.
Nice work on the hihat pattern.

Not bad for your first beat ! I dig it.

If the bass or 808 sounds clicky, try turning the "AMT" knob up all the way in the ENV/LFO folder of the sample. That should fix the problem. As for the melody, the structure is good. If you wanna spice it up, layer your melody with different sounds. You can combine and make cool sounds

Maybe you could repeat the melody a couple of semitons higher or lower.
